About Neslihan Katipoğlu

Neslihan Katipoğlu is a contemporary artist living and working in Istanbul. In her artistic production, she adopts an abstract expressionist language, exploring themes of memory, emotion, and inner transformation through color layers and surface textures.

"My greatest joy as a child was painting. Now it has become a way to express my emotions."

Painting has evolved for her from a playground to a journey of self-discovery over time. The workshop process created a defining turning point in her art and inner world, bringing together her intuitive productions with conscious awareness.

"I progress on the path of finding myself without being bound to styles. Especially after the workshop, a growth process developed within me. I continue to observe change and this without resistance."

Her understanding of art rejects limiting patterns.

"I never got stuck on a particular style in art. I love to experience and try everything as much as I can."

Since 2022, the artist continues her productions within the "Painting Workshop for the Talentless" with Ayça Şen, participating regularly in group exhibitions every year. Her works, known as "Neslico Art," attract attention with both their aesthetic and emotional depth, offering viewers an encounter space within their own inner world.

Neslihan Katipoğlu continues to create, paint, and dream. The artist, sensitive to environmental and social sustainability issues, is open to gallery collaborations, curatorial projects, and private collections.
